Michael Tyson is a motion graphics designer, animator and visual effects compositor with nearly 30 years experience in the broadcast and post-production industry. His keen eye for design along with a sharp technical production background combine to give him a wide range of capabilities in animation and visual effects.

Michael began his career in the broadcast television industry in 1984, spending over 8 years at NBC affiliates in San Antonio, TX and Tampa, FL. He rode the wave of computer generated design from its infancy and that continued with his switch to the post-production industry in the early 90’s. He was lead animator at GDI Animation/FX in Tampa where he worked on projects ranging from advertising agencies and corporate clients to sports production companies and independent producers. From there, Michael joined Magnolia Post in Tampa as senior designer/animator where he continued to work with a wide selection of clients and projects, adding more visual effects to his range of abilities. He has helped see effects projects from paper to presentation, acting as an effects supervisor on set to help ensure a smooth flow from the camera to post-production.
